NDLEA 2023 Recruitment Application will be opened for the period of four weeks.


The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) invites
applications from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the NDLEA. 
The online application will be open for a period of four weeks from Sunday 12 March to Saturday 8 April, 2023. Interested.

But before submitting an application, there are certain requirements you must meet to prove you are fit and ready to be put through the recruitment process. Below are the requirements. 

General Requirements for the NDLEA Recruitment 2023/2024

All Applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria
Strong team spirit and excellent analytical skills
:::Applicants must be a graduate
Candidates with bad criminal records excluding road traffic offenses will not be accepted to work with this agency
Interested candidates must have good communication skills

:::Must possess a minimum of Five Credits in no more than two sittings in West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE). Credit in English is compulsory
Interested applicants must be of good behavior and composure

:::HND, B.Sc, NCE, or an OND certificate in any related field, and from a recognized University
All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voters card
Must be willing to work in a new environment
Interested applicants must be physically, mentally fit.

:::All candidates must be free from hard drugs or narcotics. Prove of well-being from a recognized and approved Hospital will be needed
Applicant interested in the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency recruitment must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years,

 CATEGORIES

Superintendent Cadce (General Duties or Specialists)

(1) Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics II CONPASS (0) Applicant must possess first Degree/HND in any discipline from a recognised institution of leaming and NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate

(2) Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I (CONPASS 2) Applicant with LLR BL. BEng (with COREN) Pharm, etc, on successful completion of training shall be granted the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics 1 (CONPASS 9)

(3) Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 100 Applicant with MBBS or DVM on successful

completion of training shall be granted the rank of Deputy

Superintendent of Narcotics (CONPASS 10).

(1) Chief Narcotic Agent - CONPASS (07) Applicant must possess a Nigerian Certificate of Education, registered nurses and midwives, Pharmacy technicians, labs technicians dental technicians, or its equivalent from a recognized institution of learning.

(2) Senior Narcotic Agent-CONPASS (06) Applicant must possess a National Diploma (ND) or its equivalem from a recognical institution of caring.

(3) Narcotic Agent - CONPASS (05) Applicant must

possess 5 Credits in SSCE/CE/NABTEB including English and Mathematics


Narcotic Assistant Cadre

(1) Narcotic Assistant I-CONPASS (0) Applicant must possess at least 4 Credits in SSCEOCE/NABTEB including Mathematics or English Language

(2) Narcotic Assistant II-CONPASS (03) Applicant must possess at least 3 credits in SSCE/GCE WAEC NECO/NABTEB including Mathematics or English Language

Artisans, Mechanics, Drivers, Cleaners Gardeners etc Applicant must provide evidence of completion 

(3)secondary school or Trade Test Grade II or III. 

4. STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RECRUITMENT

1. Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth and posses National Identity Number (NIN). Also, compuner literacy shall be an added advantage for all cadres.


h. Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered and accepted at the time of recruitment cannot be presented subsequently for career progression in the Agency.

Applicants must be medically fit and must produce a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital. 
d. Applicants must not be less than 20 years or more than 35 years of age for the first category while the age limit for the second and third

categories is 30 years and not less than 18 years at the point of entry

However, 40 years will be considered for Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers

Applicants height must not be less than 1.65 metres for male and 1.60 metres for female 
f. Medical and Allied professionals must possess current practising licences while Lawyers must have been called to Bar.
Applicants must be drug free and also be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.

h. Applicants must use their personal email address and phone numbers when submitting their applications online.

click on Career and then click on Apply Now. 

b. You will be redirected to a page for the categories (select from list of categories)
Fill out the form and ensure all required documents listed below
are uploaded:

(1) Passport photograph

(2) Educational Certificates

(3) Certificate of State of Origin

(4) Birth Certificate Declaration of Age

(5) National Identity Card (6) NYSC Discharge Exemption certificate.

d. Applicants must print out their online generated slip on completion of their application.

Successful candidates will be required to fill further vetting

forms All successful candidates will be subjected to random illicit drug

use test throughout their service in the Agency.

Only shortlisted applicants shall be invited for further examination and interview.

Note: Multiple applications would lead to disqualification

The NPC Adhoc Staff Training for Enumerators and Supervisors recently scheduled to commence on 15th March, 2023 and end on 21st March, 2023 will no longer hold as planned.  Recall that the National Population Commission had planned to conduct the LGA Level Training on Building Numbering and Household Listing on 15th - 21st March, 2023, and LGA Level Training on Persons Enumeration on 26th - 30th April, 2023. However, the postponement of the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly Election to 18th March, 2023 has thwarted the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors Training schedule, as it now falls within the election period. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday rescheduled the Governorship/House of Assembly Election, which was ealier slated on 11th March, 2023, on the ground that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (EPT) had delayed the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).
