NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE RECRUITMENT


The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), on Monday, opened its portal for 2023 recruitment exercise for interested applicants.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced the start of the process.

The Board invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for full-time appointments to fill vacancies.

The positions are Superintendent Of Immigration (SI) CONPASS 11 (Medical Doctors), Deputy Superintendent Of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 (Pharmacists), Assistant Superintendent Of Immigration II (ASI II) CONPASS 08.

Others are Inspector Of Immigration (II) CONPASS 07 (Nursing), Assistant Inspector Of Immigration (All), General Duty, CONPASS 06.

The rest include Immigration Assistant III (IA III) CONPASS 03 General Duty, Immigration Assistant III (IA III) CONPASS 03 Artisans (Motor Driver, Mechanic).

Nigeria Immigration Service (N.I.S) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service (N.I.S):

A. SUPERINTENDENT CADRE

1. Superintendent of Immigration (SI) CONPASS II

2. Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10

3. Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI II) CONPASS 08 NOTE:-

Applicant must be a possess HND or Bachelor Degree in MBBS, Pharmacy or it equivalent, obtained from a recognized institution with NYSC Certificate or exemption certificate.

B. INSPECTORATE CADRE

1. Assistant Inspector of Immigration (All) General Duty, CONPASS 06

NOTE:-

Applicant must be a holder of National Diploma, NCE or Advanced NABTEB obtained from a recognized institution.

C. ASSISTANT CADRE

1. Immigration Assistant (IA III) CONPASS 03 General Duty Applicant must be a holder of WAEC, NECO, GCE Ordinary Level or other equivalents with a maximum of five

(5) credits including English and Mathematics in not more than 2 two sitting. 2. Immigration Assistant (IA III) CONPASS 03 Artisant

Applicant must be a holder of Ordinary Level SSCE or other equivalents and approprite Trade Test Certificate

STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR RECRUITMENT

1. Applicant must have National Identity Number

2. Applicants must have all the educational qualification and certificate.

3. Applicants must present medical certificate from government hospital.

4. Applicant must be between ages of 18-30 years expect doctors and pharmacists who
must not be more than 35years

6. Local Government or state certificate. 

7. Primary and O-LEVEL Certificate

8. Degree, HND,NCE and ND certificate.

9. Recent passport

COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)

There should be computer based test for shortlisted candidates. Approprite time and date will be communicated to such persons. CLOSING

All application are expected to be completed and submitted within 2 weeks that is from Monday 16, January 2023 to Sunday 29, January 2023.

Multiple applications will automatically be disqualified. The deadline for submission is January 30, 2023.
Requirements: Applicants must be Nigerians by birth; Have National Identity Number (NIN); Have requisite qualifications and certificates; Be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from government-recognized hospitals.
Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence; they will be required to undergo drug test.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years with the exception of Doctors and Pharmacists, who must not be more than 35 Years; Height must not be less than 1.65m for male and 1.60m for female.
Applicants’ chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men; Computer literacy is added advantage; Any certificate or qualification not declared and accepted during documentation will not be accepted after the recruitment.

The date for the computer-based test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates will be communicated in due course.
